First and foremost- HAPPY CANADA DAY!!! Isn't it wonderful how our letter C day ended up on this great holiday!! :)We had a great C day celebration!! We played with colored clay, colored the letter Cc, wore a fancy crown, played with a toy car, ate a C inspired muffin tin meal, cleaned (well Mommy did this one), baked chocolate chip cookies in the shape of the letter C, and learned the sound of the letter C. (no, I didn't try and teach her both c sounds.... all things need to be taught in a timely orderly fashion and I didn't want to confuse her!) We also chased the doggie around the table and played with our friend's cat! So many words begin with the letter C!!
carrots, celery, craisins, crackers, cheese, croutons, chicken nuggets (forgot corn)
3 letters down- 23 to go!! We can do this!!!

Great C Day!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see you blogging again! Sorry I've been MIA!!! Trying to get the last bit of MOVING done...then comes the unpacking!
Great C day! You have an incredible amount of material accumulated already. C is a tough letter, because it has three sounds. I am sure your daughter will catch on to letters in your time.
